My Top Ten Syfy Movies

AVATAR (2009)
For a type of movie that was never made before and they did not know what could be the audience reaction to it; Fox took a huge risk on avatar because usually such high budgets are not risked on story that does not already have a strong, established fan base such as Batman. However it turned out to be the highest grossing movie ever make. The visual effects that the director James Cameron on this movie are unlike anything ever seen before. The aliens are reported t be the best ever made because they looked to realistic; their hair, skin and facial expression are as natural as human facial expression. The experience of watching avatar in 3D is outstanding.

INCEPTION (2010)
Inception was the first movie in over a decade to mix breathtaking action with thoughtful subtext. The director Christopher Nolan was able to take multiples genres, setting, idea, emotions, and question and weaving them into a rich tapestry that had  people taking long tapestry after the credits roll. In my opinion the most thrilling part of the movie was when the Paris-folding and also the part of zero gravity, that was the breathtaking moment for me.

 I AM LEGEND (2007)
Robert Neville who is a scientist who was unable to stop the spread of a terrible virus that was incurable and man-made. Neville was now the last human survivor in what is left of in New York City and perhaps the world. It is incredible to see how a lonely man in a city infested of mutants treats  mannequin as if they are humans. He even talks to the mannequin as if the mannequin can respond him. I think this is the best part of the movie because this scene shows that even when the mutants are not humans anymore, they can somehow still use a part of their brain to make a trap to catch Robert Neville.

I, ROBOT (2004)

Men always tend to advance their world by making robots and make them do men's job, which is not a bad thing. However in this movie these robots try to take over the man world. This scene shows how these robots try to accomplish their dream by trying to eliminate the detective who is investigating the suicide of one of the scientist that found the creation of the robots.

MATRIX (1999)
Matrix is the first movie to mix breathtaking action with thoughtful subtext. when matrix was release there were not other like it. The visual effects that they use were innovative to that era. They were well known by the visual effect called slow motion, where we could see them dodge bullets.

 JURASSIC PARK (1997)
Jurassic Park was considered simply one of the greatest blockbuster of all time, it was also considered as true movie milestone, presenting awe- and fear-inspiring sights never before seen on the screen. For the raptors, specifically, the creatures such a fluid ranges of motion that the carnality of their attacks gives off a vibrant feeling.

  TRANSFORMERS (2007)
Transformers was considered the highest grossing non-sequel movie in 2007, worldwide. It became them most successful film in the country's history by grossing $ 5.2 million in Malaysia. In china it  became the second highest grossing foreign film in the country ( behind Titanic). Its visual effect was so complex that it took a staggering 38 hours for ILM to render just one frame of moment.

STAR TREK (2009)
Star trek became the highest film in the star trek series; as such, it is credited by the media as a reboot of the series. the summer's first smashing blockbuster, is the fact that screenwriters Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman have discovered a means of having their own way with the story without stepping on the toes of even the most diehard fan.

CHILDREN OF MEN (2006)
In a society that face a lot of problems, like no rules, anyone can do what ever; there was not hope of recreating of the society because women were having problem that were make them unable to get pregnant. this scene show how other people were trying to kill the only on woman who were pregnant.

                            SPIDER MAN (2002)
Spider man was a huge success when it was released, it became the first film to pass $ 100 million mark in a single weekend. At the time it was released it was the highest-grossing superhero movie of all time; however it is currently rank as the third highest-grossing superhero movie of all time. This scene was the one of the most difficult scene of the movie. The producers had to do it separately so none of the main characters would be erased because of their individual color schemes.
